About the Role
We are seeking professional and dependable Security Officers to join our team at a residential community. This site is staffed by two officers per shift, who work together to provide comprehensive security coverage. Officers will rotate responsibilities between the guardhouse and mobile patrol throughout the shift to ensure continuous coverage of the property.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy a combination of customer service, access control, and proactive patrol duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Rotate between gatehouse access control and mobile patrol assignments during the shift.
Screen and announce all visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries before granting access to the community.
Verify resident and visitor information in accordance with community policies.
Conduct continuous patrols throughout the community using a company-marked patrol vehicle.
Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and violations of community rules.
Complete Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and Maintenance Reports as needed.
Report maintenance issues, damaged property, or other concerns observed during patrols.
Respond promptly and professionally to resident concerns and service requests.
Maintain radio communication with your partner, supervisors, and emergency services when necessary.
Provide a highly visible security presence while delivering exceptional customer service to residents and guests.
Requirements:
Valid Florida Class D Security License (Required)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
