Security Officer – Commercial Property Patrol (Hallandale Beach)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional and observant Security Officer to oversee a multi-phase commercial property in Hallandale Beach. This position involves both marked vehicle and foot patrols during operational hours to ensure property safety, enforce protocols, and provide detailed reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct hourly patrols throughout the site using a company-marked security vehicle and on foot.
Use a guard tour system to scan all designated checkpoints.
Actively inspect and check for any open or unsecured doors left by vendors or tenants, and report any breaches immediately.
Document and report all maintenance deficiencies, safety concerns, or unusual activity.
Complete incident reports and daily logs using a company-issued smartphone and mobile application.
Log and verify all vendors, deliveries, and visitors entering or exiting the property.
Maintain communication with local law enforcement in the event of emergencies or incidents.
Serve as a high-visibility deterrent to trespassing, loitering, or unauthorized activity.
Requirements:
Valid Florida Class D Security License (Required)
Clean driving record and valid driver's license (Required)
Experience in commercial property or mobile patrol preferred
Must be tech-savvy and able to use mobile reporting tools
Strong observational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work outdoors and independently for the duration of the shift
Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Requirements
Qualifications:
Valid Class D Security License (required).
Clean Driver's License with a safe driving record (required).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, visitors, and vendors.
